Mayor Mamdani and Gov. Hochul on Sun Jun 7 briefed New Yorkers on citywide preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with five matches at MetLife (Jun 13, 16, 22, 25, 27, 30 and Jul 5 plus Jul 19 final). Each match day will be declared a Gridlock Alert Day.
