King Charles III and Queen Camilla Lay Wreath at 9/11 Memorial; Mamdani Among Dignitaries

King Charles III and Queen Camilla took part in a wreath-laying ceremony at the National September 11 Memorial Wednesday morning, meeting with first responders and victims' families ahead of the 25th anniversary of the attacks. Mayor Mamdani and other city dignitaries were on hand for the ceremony. The royal couple's NYC stops also include Harlem and Rockefeller Center; no private Mamdani–King meeting is scheduled, per a Buckingham Palace spokesperson. The visit is the highest-profile international event of Mamdani's first 100+ days in office and unfolded without incident.
