Mamdani ordered DOHMH to test cooling towers across the area ahead of the holiday weekend and, on Jul 6, made public the addresses of every building with a positive initial PCR test — a first for the department. Positive buildings ordered to immediately drain, clean, and disinfect. Central Park visitors warned. UES town hall planned.
