9/11 25th Anniversary Petition to Bar Mamdani from Ground Zero Ceremony

Change.org petition to bar Mamdani from Ground Zero 25th-anniversary ceremony has grown to 98,000+ signatures (from ~1,350 in late July). Sept 8: 9/11 family Jim Galante and Queens GOP Councilwoman Joann Ariola hand-delivered the petition at City Hall. Rudy Giuliani and George Pataki have publicly urged Mamdani to skip the event; Nassau Exec/GOP gubernatorial candidate Bruce Blakeman called for attendees to 'turn their backs.' Mamdani has repeatedly confirmed attendance and framed the week as focused on victims' families and first responders. Ceremony Friday Sept 11.
